Imaging a Shopify-like platform allowing an influencer to build a storefront using products from other Merchants. Orders are fulfilled via drop shipping, and the process is also configured to automatically compute and collect sales tax.
This use case is highly complex, in that one payment is used to pay one influencer, many merchants, multiple shippers, platform provider, and countless government agencies wanting their tax revenue.
Finally, this use case allows the user to pay from debit/credit card, bank account, or a "Shopify Balance" stored value account. This consumer rewards account is modeled below to be funded by Merchants, but could easily be changed so that influencers or Marketplace provide funding.
Money Fabric allows Merchants to publish their SKUs to a Marketplace, where Influencers may select for display within their customized stores.
A Consumer portal or mobile appl allows Consumers to build an order, which they can pay using either a credit/debit card or a stored value account
Your app invokes a single Money Fabric API to instantly move funds among all facilitating parties.
Ledgers are automatically updated with double entry accounting, including card processing fees. All amounts are instantly available when paying with virtual account, but tagged as pending until card payment is settled.
