How it Works
Money Fabric provides a point-and-click dashboard for configuring arbitrary business process involving parties of arbitrary roles.
You then assign fee plans to involved parties and execute processes. Money is moved according to defined processes, and may include pay-ins, pay-outs, virtual account-to-account transfers, and more.
Virtual account ledgers are updated in real-time to reflect all money movement activity using double entry accounting.
Creating a Money Movement Program
Simply create a Money Movement Program from a list of pre-defined templates. Assign required parties and deploy. You now have a running Payment Facilitator program, Venmo Competitor, Uber Competitor, or anything else you define as a program template.
A Program Template is just a collection of workflows and other rules, so you can choose a pre-built template or build your own.
Graphical Money Movement Editor
The Money Fabric Portal includes a graphical editor for designing your custom money movement processes. You simply drag and drop icons to build your processes, no coding required.
Build Complex Processes
A Money Movement Process defines how money is to be split among multiple parties for facilitating a transaction. These processes can be arbitrarily complex, and include as many roles as required.
Money Movement processes are executed with a single API call.
Ledgers are Updated in Real-time
Executing a business process will result in money movements between many virtual accounts using double-entry accounting.
Businesses and Users may configure auto-load/disbursal rules to move money into, and out of, their virtual accounts. Alternatively, users may sign up for a debit card (upon program approval) to spend money out of their virtual accounts.
Developer Guide
Money Fabric allows you to build a sophisticated money movement solution in a day, and to do so without any coding. There is no need to build a ledgering system, integrate to issuing processors, gain access to core banking APIs, communicate with fraud surveillance tools, or anything else. It is that simple.
You will, however, likely need to integrate your mobile apps or back-office server to Money Fabric APIs to kick off various money movement processes. For this, you will need access to the Money Fabric SDK.
